Saturday 15th April 2023 Fundraiser for Kevin McCaughey a former Piper with the band for many years. Kevin was also a member of the original Birmingham Irish Pipes and Drums in the 60’s Venue: St Francis Centre, Wretham Road, Handsworth, Birmingham B19 1ED. Starts at 8.30pm with live music and light refreshments. We have 3 events for the band coming up in the next 2 months.

Wednesday 27th July will see the drummers performing with other drummers from around the region playing for the Queen’s Commonwealth Baton Relay as it arrives in Birmingham. This will be outside the Council House / Town Hall at 5pm.

The full band will be performing at the Commonwealth Games celebrations being held at Farnborough Fields, Farnborough Road in Castle Vale on Friday the 29th July. The band will be playing on stage at 6pm and then holding a workshop from 6.15pm to introduce people in to how to learn either Bagpipes or Drums. Farnborough Rd, Birmingham B35 7LF

Saturday the 27th August we are opening the Irish Festival being held in the Outdoor grounds – New Irish Centre Wheelers Lane, Kings Heath. https://paircfestival.com/ we will be playing at 12 noon and around 3pm. There is a great line up of top Irish acts for the whole weekend.
